SJ Books was formed in 1994 and originally sold discounted books to educational establishments in London and the Southeast. We now have a nationwide customer base and supply schools and colleges with high quality cut price books. SJ Books appreciate the sensitivities of budgets without compromising on choice or quality. We cover a variety of subjects and give generous discounts with many titles being sold at half the recommended retail price. The minimum discount that we give on new current publications is 12.5%.

We are, perhaps, still best known for supplying half price books to schools and colleges. We realise that this category of books meets the needs of educational establishments, such as your own. For those of you who would like a more 'hands on approach' and prefer to look through the books before placing an order, we can arrange for one of our sales representatives to visit you. Our sales representatives will visit you at your premises with an excellent selection of books. Our well-known, one stop service, enables you to choose and keep the titles on the same day. You will also be left with an invoice for you to pass on to your bursar.

Our sales teams have not been trained to make a hard sell, we understand that you know which books you need and where the gaps are. The sales team will on no account push for a sale, they will give general advice and leave the buying decisions to you. Research and experience illustrate time and again that the products will sell themselves. SJ Books is currently diversifying into the supply of digital resources supported by the Curriculum Online scheme. These products will include educational software, CD ROMs, videos and DVDs. All products will be of the highest quality and will be added to our website in the very near future.
